“Adding on is not just more space,” says Mechanical Extremes’ Harold Wilkes. There is more too it. “For example, which direction does the addition face, and where is it relative to the sun?” Accounting for differences like those can make a huge difference in outcomes. Additions are permanent, so including correct HVAC in the planning process will prevent costly adjustments later.
