Taking the Day Off

The Mechanical Extremes team recently took the day off for a golf outing.  Is there any possible advantage to the customer?

Most people would come up with something like this:   If your staff enjoys an outing with each other, they may also work together well on behalf of customers.  The photographer employed to take the pics noticed something more.  The event was well organized, totally – even making sure fun was built in.  The plan outlined who would play on each of the six teams, set up competitions at several holes, and announced prizes for accomplishing goals. That last one is important, especially for those who aren’t experts at the game. In the photo you can see Stacey Wilkes addressing the teams before play began.

So, how is this meaningful?  The event reflects how things work at Mechanical Extremes.  Some would call it the company culture.  What the photographer noticed transfers into Mechanical Extremes’ business-like pursuit of serving customers.  The crew knows the game plan.  Company leadership ensures well thought-out policies are followed from start to finish.  Team members are entrusted to make good decisions because they are well-trained.

Of course, HVAC isn’t golf.  Good thing.  Not everyone is Tiger Woods. Then there was this unfortunate mishap.

Good to know that no one was hurt.  In fact it earned these three players a prize for funny team photo.
